The Alpha-Xi Magazine Pouch is a next-generation evolution of the Alpha-X pouch, designed with feedback from users to enhance both its functionality and durability.
The pouch features a modern design with large side cut-outs around a smaller, easily rotatable tension wheel. This new wheel design allows for the easy mounting of a large magnet on the pouch’s exterior.
One of the most significant improvements in the Alpha-Xi is the ball-joint attachment for the belt hanger. Unlike the dove-tail connection in the Alpha-X, the Alpha-Xi uses a custom wide-head screw that secures the ball-joint through the aluminum side wall, greatly enhancing durability, especially when the pouch is subject to heavy impact.
The pouch body offers multiple connection points, accommodating both right-hand and left-hand shooters with different height positions, as well as bullets-out mounting options. The key-seat engagement, paired with the custom screw, ensures a secure fit with no wiggle or movement.
For further security, the ball joint is locked in place with a pressure coupling and a large T25 Torx M6 Screw, allowing precise adjustments to the pouch’s angle and tilt.
All screws have been upgraded to T20 and T25 Torx-head screws, with a custom key included for easy adjustments. The pouch continues to use wrap-around spacers that center various magazine sizes within the body, offering a smooth draw and preventing binding. The height-adjustable bridge support under the magazine adds further customization, enabling the user to set the magazine’s seating depth.
The pouch includes three sets of spacers for different double-stack magazines, with an optional single stack spacer available as an accessory. Additionally, users can personalize the pouch with laser-cut plastic inlays available in various colors.
