Description
The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction Rod is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the pistol.
This system works due to the multi spring intricate rod (3 springs) and controls the functionality of the pistol. The third spring which is contained within the rod controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame.
The system includes 4 different powered springs and 3 different sized spacers so the user can fine tune the opening and locking position forces on the pistol’s slide. The springs wire diameter is 1.0mm.
Power Rates of the External Springs:
Slide on the battery (closed)
- S 1 Gold Short (23.5 coils): 5.7 lbs
- S 2 Gold Long (25 coils): 6.6 lbs
- S 3 Silver Short (23.5 coils): 7.3 lbs
- S 4 Silver Long (25 coils) : 8.4 lbs
The 2 Gold Springs are softer and 2 Silver Springs are heavier.
Power Rates of the spacers – Slide full open position.
- Short Spacer: 15 lbs approx.
- Medium Spacer: 19 lbs approx.
- Long Spacer: 23 lbs approx.
