The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for Glock 17/22 Gen 1-3 offers an advanced solution for managing recoil, slide impact, and overall firearm performance. Designed with a multi-spring setup, this system reduces wear on the frame, improves accuracy, and enables faster follow-up shots—making it ideal for competitive shooters and tactical users alike.
This standard version is optimized for use with 115gr and 124gr ammunition and is compatible with Type C Glock models. For compensated setups or modified barrels, please contact DPM Systems directly to determine if a custom solution is required.
The system includes 3 internal springs (one captured within the rod), 2 external recoil springs, and allows fine-tuning for your shooting style or ammunition preference.
Advanced Recoil Control
The internal multi-spring rod and external springs provide adjustable resistance for a smoother slide cycle:
- Competition Ammunition: Use the shorter external spring for a lighter buffer effect and faster cycling.
- Standard Factory Ammunition: Pair with the medium-length spring for balanced performance and slide control.
- Heavy Ammunition (+P): Use the longer, heavier spring for maximum recoil absorption and frame protection.
