The Psigear MPCS™ PX-1 Premium Plate Carrier is a durable and adaptable plate carrier base crafted from 500D Cordura®. It supports Molle panels, Velcro cummerbunds, and QASM buckles, offering unmatched mission flexibility and comfort.
This is a “barebone” plate carrier that only includes a front and a rear panel as well as padded shoulder straps. It is necessary to choose a cummerbund of your choice and/ or MOLLE flaps.
Built for mobility and ergonomics, these vests are compatible with standard SAPI Plates (Dimensions: 250mm x 300mm/ Thickness: up to 20mm).
These plate carriers are designed to fit all body sizes. Sizing is determined by the cummerbunds, not the plate pouches.

Description
The MPCS™ (Modular Plate Carrier System) by PSIGEAR™ is a Hinge™-based modular system comprising a front and back set, cummerbund, MOLLE panel, and pouches. Designed for adaptability, the MPCS™ allows rapid configuration changes to meet the demands of specific missions. Users can easily combine different front panels and rear packs, offering exceptional convenience and flexibility to suit a wide range of operational requirements.
The exterior of the carrier is constructed from 500D Cordura® and SQUADRON™ for enhanced durability. Velcro panels on the upper front section allow for the easy attachment of patches. Strategically placed 45-degree PTT port openings along the sides align with the carrier’s hypotenuse, maximising available space without impeding shoulder movement.
Both lower sides feature laser-cut QASM buckle slots, allowing quick installation of QASM buckles and MOLLE panels. Eight robust Velcro loops at the bottom enable secure attachment of MOLLE panels and compatibility with traditional Velcro cummerbunds. These independent Velcro sections improve durability—ensuring the carrier remains operational even in the event of seam damage or tampering.
The rear design mirrors the front, supporting interchangeable MOLLE panels for configuring various loadouts based on mission needs. Internally, the carrier incorporates Velcro and elastic fabric structures that self-adjust to accommodate different armour plates. The Velcro lining also allows the integration of optional mesh padding for enhanced comfort during extended wear.
Note:
The PX-1 Plate Carrier comes with padded shoulder straps for reduced fatigue during extended use but does not include cummerbunds/ MOLLE flap and other attachments, allowing for custom configurations. A compatible MPCS Cummerbund must be separately for the plate carrier to work.
