Belva Outdoor & Tactical is your go-to source for pew accessories, shooting gear, plate carriers and training that doesn’t suck. We import, distribute, and retail top-tier equipment — and deliver practical shooting programmes tailored to your needs. Whether you’re a weekend warrior, self-defender, or competitive shooter chasing that next stage win, we’ve got your six.

How it began:

It all started in the winter of 2021, when social distancing was the norm and side hustles became survival strategies. Born in a 12 m² study in Sandton, Belva began as a Beretta-loving founder’s quest to find quality parts and gear — and ended up becoming a full-blown mission to raise the bar for shooters in South Africa.

We noticed the gap: too few stores offered reliable info, personalised service, or real-world advice. So we built what we wished existed — a store that not only sells shooting gear, but also helps shooters level up with credible training, curated accessories, and honest guidance.

Do we keep stock?

Mostly, yes. If it says “In Stock,” it’s in our warehouse in Barbeque Downs, Kyalami. Some items (like custom holsters or apparel) are made to order or kept at supplier depots. Backorder items come with clear lead times — and if we ever mess up stock levels (hey, it happens), you’ll get a refund or store credit. Your call.

Belva means beast in Latin and Italian.

Peter Chang — Advanced Level Instructor (PFTC), Beretta PRO Team South Africa member, and competitive IPSC shooter — leads the charge with practical knowledge and relentless passion. Belva is a reflection of his ethos: make training accessible, gear affordable, and progress inevitable.
